# QueryFanOuts > QueryFanOuts is a tool for analysing Google Search Console query data to detect query fan-out patterns, classify search intent, and generate content recommendations optimised for AI-powered search engines including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Microsoft Copilot. ## What Is Query Fan-Out? When a user submits a query to an AI search engine, the system decomposes it into multiple parallel sub-queries, retrieves information for each one simultaneously, and synthesises a comprehensive answer. This process is called query fan-out. Content that does not appear in the sub-queries will not be cited in the final answer. QueryFanOuts helps you identify which of your GSC queries trigger fan-out, what sub-queries are generated, and what content gaps need to be filled. ## Pages - [Homepage](https://queryfanouts.com/homepage.md): Full product overview, how it works, features, FAQ, and key concepts around query fan-out optimisation. - [Privacy Policy](https://queryfanouts.com/privacy): How we collect, use, and protect your data. - [Terms of Service](https://queryfanouts.com/terms): Terms governing use of the QueryFanOuts platform. - [Accessibility](https://queryfanouts.com/accessibility): Our accessibility commitment and standards. ## How to Use QueryFanOuts 1.
